BUNGIE ANNOUNCES REDUCTION IN FORCE & REORGANIZATION

Bungie has officially confirmed they are undergoing a reduction in force (layoffs) as part of a major studio reorganization.

The studio stated they “could not continue operating at their previous size” following the end of Destiny 2 support and the current state of other projects.

CD PROJEKT RED CO-CEO ON AI-GENERATED GAMES

Michał Nowakowski says fully AI-made games are definitely coming soon. He mentioned studios that can create around 40 prototypes in a week, pick the best ones, and release a game just weeks later.

However, he’s not convinced this is the future of gaming:

“Maybe that’s going to be successful, but I have some doubts whether this is really the path to follow.”

He added that people underestimate how difficult it is to make great games, and with so many titles releasing every year, it’s getting harder to stand out. According to him, the best games still need “a fresh idea, with a soul.”

CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 1 & 2 RE-RELEASES ARE ONLY PORTS, NOT REMASTERS
