So, if this pattern is taken as a base and analysed, we can predict that PlayStation 6 will launch between 2027 and 2028 but this is just a prediction, not an exact timeline.

Furthermore, Sony and AMD have been working together for a long time and are longtime partners, allegedly in the final stages regarding the design of the PS6 custom processor.

PlayStation 5 standard edition was launched at $499 while the Digital edition was launched at $399. It may be seen that the standard edition of PlayStation 6 will be launched at $699 keeping in mind the rising cost of production and advanced technology but that is just a prediction.

A Reddit post titled “Official PS6 design leak” claimed that this would be the design of the PS6 but was later deleted by the author, leaving the authenticity of the post in doubt.

2. Chipset and Hardware Specifications
According to reports and rumours, design of PS6’s system-on-chip (SoC) has been completed by Sony and A0 tapeout is scheduled for the later part of this year. This indicates that the hardware design of the PS6 is about to close and ready for verification and testing phase.

3. Expected Launch Timeline
According to Leaks and rumours, the PS6 could launch by the end of 2027 and is expected to feature AMD’s semi-custom APUs supporting 8K gaming at 60FPS and 4K gaming at 120FPS.

A video was uploaded on YouTube with the title: “PS6 Leaked Images” which claims to reveal the design of the PS6. Though we cannot confirm the authenticity of the video, such leaks do garner a lot of attention in the gaming industry and among games.
