MODERN WARFARE III BECOMING FREE FOR PLAYSTATION PLUS MEMBERS ON JULY 7! 🎮
PlayStation Plus members will be able to download the full Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III for free starting July 7th.
This is part of the monthly PS Plus game lineup.
GOG RESPONDS TO PLAYSTATION’S END OF PHYSICAL DISCS! 📀
GOG has issued a strong statement defending true digital ownership:
“Even if a game disappears from the GOG store, it never leaves your library. Exactly as digital ownership should be.”
GOG is making it clear that buying digital should mean owning, not renting.
XBOX WORKING ON “DISC TO DIGITAL” FEATURE! 💿
Xbox is developing a new system that would let players with physical disc copies redeem a digital version of the game.
The company is also expected to eventually stop physical disc production, following Sony’s recent move.
PLAYSTATION ENDING PHYSICAL DISC PRODUCTION FOR ALL NEW GAMES IN JANUARY 2028! 📀
Sony has officially confirmed that physical game disc production for all new games releasing on PlayStation consoles will be discontinued starting January 2028.
XBOX SENDING GAME PASS NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT MODERN WARFARE 4
Xbox is notifying Game Pass subscribers that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will not be available on the service at launch.
It is expected to arrive later in Holiday 2027.
The message includes:
“If you’d like to jump in on day one, you’ll need to purchase the game.”
BATTLEFIELD 6 XP TOKENS NOW ONLY COUNTDOWN WITH IN-GAME TIME!
Battlefield has updated the XP token system so they now only countdown during actual gameplay, not real-world time.
This is a huge quality-of-life win for players.

CALL OF DUTY ADS FOR MODERN WARFARE 4 CLEARLY STATE “NOT ON XBOX GAME PASS”
Activision is running ads for Modern Warfare 4 that specifically mention the game is not available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
This appears to be an effort to manage expectations after the last two years of Call of Duty titles being on Game Pass.
